The Disappearance of Hong Kong’s June Fourth Vigils

For the past three decades, the June Fourth Vigil at Hong Kong's Victoria Park symbolizes the hope of democracy and the resistance against the Chinese Communist Party in Hong Kong and China. Nevertheless, since the passing of the National Security Law in 2020, the regime cracks down on Hong Kong's civil organizations, including those who hosted the vigil every year.

This virtual panel features a team of Hong Kong and China politics experts, activists, and dissidents: Lee Wing Tat 李永達, Teng Biao 滕彪, and Sophie Richardson. The panel is moderated by Anna Kwok 郭鳳儀
